CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE AND USE OF CINEMA CITY HUNGARY GIFT TICKETS/GIFT CARDS AND ELECTRONIC GIFT VOUCHERS

ANNEX 2 OF THE CINEMA CITY HUNGARY HOUSE RULES

 
1. DEFINITIONS OF TERMS
a. The Issuer of the Gift Card/Gift Voucher and the Electronic Gift Voucher is Cinema City Hungary - I.T. Magyar Cinema Kft. (hereinafter referred to as "Cinema City"). I.T. Magyar Cinema Kft., a company registered in Hungary, with its registered office at 1132 Budapest, Váci út 22-24, I. floor, tax number: 12294910-2-44, company registration number: 01-09-663792, registered with the Commercial Court of the Budapest General Court

b. CINEMA CITY HUNGARY cinemas:
Cinema City Alba, Cinema City Allee, Cinema City Aréna, Cinema City Balaton, Cinema City Campona, Cinema City Debrecen, Cinema City Duna Pláza, Cinema City Győr, Cinema City Mammut, Cinema City Miskolc, Cinema City Nyíregyháza, Cinema City Pécs, Cinema City Savaria, Cinema City Sopron, Cinema City Szeged, Cinema City Szolnok, Cinema City Westend, Cinema City Zalaegerszeg

c. Gift Voucher/Gift Card - a paper gift voucher or electronic voucher code that can be used by the holder when purchasing tickets at the Cinema City Cinema box offices or via the website www.cinemacity.hu and entitles the holder to attend screenings. Only Cinema City-issued Gift Vouchers/Gift Cards can be used to purchase cinema tickets, which have a unique identification number located under the unique barcode. In case of an electronic voucher code, the identification number is the voucher code itself.

d. Electronic gift voucher: a gift voucher that can be purchased on the Cinema City website and the value of which is also paid electronically by the customer. The gift voucher can be redeemed for a cinema ticket in accordance with the redemption conditions when purchasing a ticket online or at the cinema box office.

e. User: the holder of the Gift Voucher and/or Electronic Gift Voucher.

f. Cinema Ticket: a document proving the right to attend Cinema City Hungary screenings.

g. Website: www.cinemacity.hu

2. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE
a. By purchasing and using a Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate, the User declares that he/she has read and understood the terms of this document and accepts its contents.

b. Gift Tickets/Gift Cards can be purchased at the box office of any Cinema City cinema.

c. The Electronic Gift Voucher can be purchased at Cinemacity.com and redeemed later at the online ticket office or at the box offices of the cinemas.

d. Cinema City reserves the right to sell other types of vouchers in addition to the Gift Vouchers, the scope and use of which will be set out in a separate policy.

e. The Gift Ticket/Gift Card or Electronic Gift Voucher must be exchanged for a Cinema Ticket prior to the screening:
- at the relevant Cinema City box office or
- or on the Website (includes an online convenience fee of 120HUF, payable if purchased on the Website). Cinema tickets cannot be redeemed for Gift Cards/Gift Certificates or Electronic Gift Vouchers.

f. The redeemability of the gift voucher/gift card depends on the readability of the identification number or barcode on the back of the voucher, so please protect it. In particular, please ensure that you do not share the identification number/voucher code with anyone else (e.g. on a photograph) In the event that the identification number is damaged, corrupted or has already been used, we will not be able to accept or refund the value of the Gift Voucher/Gift Card or Electronic Gift Voucher.

g. The redemption of Gift Vouchers/Gift Cards or Electronic Gift Certificates is subject to the current programme offerings, please refer to our Website for the current programme offerings. 3. THE CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE OF GIFT TICKETS/GIFT CARDS AND ELECTRONIC GIFT VOUCHERS:
a. Gift Tickets/Gift Cards can be purchased in person at our ticket counters within the Cinema City network, issued by our colleagues for the type of ticket you have requested.

b. Gift Card/Gift Card types available for personal purchase: 2D, 3D, VIP 2D, VIP 3D, ScreenX, IMAX 3D, 4DX3D, Gift Card - 10 tickets, Gift Card - Pair VIP 3D

c. The Electronic Gift Voucher can be purchased at Cinemacity.hu.

d. Electronic Gift Voucher types available for online purchase: 2D, VIP 2D, IMAX 3D

e. Prices for Gift Tickets/Gift Cards and Electronic Gift Certificates: prices for Gift Tickets/Gift Cards and Electronic Gift Certificates may vary by city and format. f. Gift Certificates/Gift Cards and Electronic Gift Vouchers are valid for 180 days from the date of purchase.

g. We are unable to redeem Gift Cards/Gift Certificates and Electronic Gift Vouchers for cash or cashback or to extend their validity.

h. Discounts are not available on Gift Cards/Gift Certificates and Electronic Gift Vouchers, which are offered at full price only.

i. The purchase of an Electronic Gift Voucher is a written contract. The purchase may be cancelled at any time within 14 days of the date of purchase, in which case the Provider will refund the value of the voucher to you. You can make your withdrawal as follows:

4. THE CONDITIONS FOR REDEEMING GIFT CARDS AND ELECTRONIC GIFT VOUCHERS:
a. The holder of a Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate has the right to transfer it to a third party free of charge.

b. When transferring the Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate to a third party, the holder shall inform the subsequent User of the terms and conditions of use of the Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate as set out in these Rules.

c. Cinema City shall not be held liable for the failure of the Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Voucher holder to inform the third party of the information specified in clause 15.

d. The holder of the Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate is not entitled to sell the Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate without the prior written consent of Cinema City.

e. Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate balance info: the Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate user can check the type and expiry date of his/her Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate on the dedicated information interface on the Website. Please use the voucher info service before redeeming: www.cinemacity.hu/voucher-balance

f. Gift Card/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Voucher redemption for online cinema ticket purchases: The Gift Card/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Voucher User may redeem the Gift Card/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Voucher when purchasing an online cinema ticket. The Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate acts as a means of payment and its unique identification number must be provided at step 2 of the purchase process. For successful redemption, the format of the chosen film and the type of Gift Voucher/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Certificate must match, otherwise the Website will display an error message.

g. Gift Card/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Voucher redemption for in-person purchases: Gift Card/Gift Card and/or Electronic Gift Voucher can be redeemed for a Cinema Ticket at the Cinema City Cinema box office, depending on the current screening schedule. For redemption options, please visit our website:

- Redeem in person at the box office of the cinemas

h. Gift Tickets/Gift Cards and Electronic Gift Vouchers valid for 3D shows can also be redeemed for 2D shows of the same type. In these cases, Cinema City will not refund the difference between the price of 3D and 2D tickets.

i. When using the "Gift Card - 10 tickets" voucher, only 4 tickets can be redeemed at a time for a given calendar day.

j. Once the gift ticket, card or voucher has been redeemed, the rules for tickets purchased electronically or in person will apply.

k. Cinema City reserves the right to refuse the redemption of Gift Tickets/Gift Cards and/or Electronic Gift Vouchers for certain performances.
