Terms and conditions of online reservation and purchase

Cinema City reserves the right to make ad hoc operative changes on its halls seating plans to meet all enforced capacity regulations, which might change from time to time.  As a result, booked/reserved seats might change.

Cinema City may send notifications to inform about the changes using contact details as provided during the online booking process.


Please be informed that you have only 15 minutes after the seat selection to go through the purchase procedure.

Please always make sure that the information regarding the screening – DATE, CINEMA, TIME, MOVIE - is correct before your purchase, it is not possible to make any modifications after the transaction.

You will receive an e-mail from the cinema. If you did not get it at the end of the transaction, please contact our Customer Service: +36 80 800 800; +36 1 999 6161. Our costumer service is only available with a displayed phone number.

It is not possible to exchange full price tickets for discounted ones later on.

You can claim for an invoice in our management office at the cinema only for tickets purchased from I.T. Magyar Cinema Kft. (www.cinemacity.hu and Cinema City cashiers) The invoice can only be claimed for the day in subject, until the beginning of the show or until the close of the cashbox the latest. We are not able to issue an invoice afterwards. You can request an invoice for movie tickets - purchased from our partners - at the respective partner.

You can cancel your order 3 hours before the movie starts by phone with the help of our Customer Service. In case of cancelation the amount will be reimbursed within 14 days and the refunding costs 120 HUF /cinema ticket (that is one hundred and twenty Hungarian forints for each cinema ticket) will be deducted from the refundable amount.

In case of canceling tickets, it is only possible to cancel the entire transaction, it is not possible to delete part of the movie tickets purchased within one transaction.

The opening time of cinemas and our Customer Service should be taken into concideration when purchase cancellation is claimed. Please check the general opening of the cinemas here: www.cinemacity.hu ; Customer Service is available from 10:00 am to 22:00 pm on every day of the week: +36 80 800 800; +36 1 999 6161. Please be informed from holidays and special opening on www.cinemacity.hu before actuality. Our costumer service is only available with a displayed phone number.

Please note if you wish to enter to our halls with tickets printed at home or with e-tickets that were cancelled or are under the cancellation process we consider you a visitor without ticket and our usher colleague will not let you in.

We are not obliged to cancel the tickets or pay refund in case:

  • In case you have purchased the tickets less than 3 hours before the start of the movie.

  • In case you claim for cancellation out of the opening time of the cinemas or our Customer Service

  • In case you provide wrong or incomplete data to our Customer Service

We can only accept complaints about the purchase before the start of the show. Thank you for understanding.
